Last day to win big MTB prizes as a Greater Portland NEMBA member!

Become a Greater Portland NEMBA member today and you directly support healthy MTB trails where you live!<!–

<<First Name>>,

It’s Ryan Dunfee — volunteer President of the Greater Portland Chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association. Our paying GPNEMBA member (553 as of this morning and growing!) is what affords us the resources to invest in maintaining world-class trails across Greater Portland, paying for tools, machine rentals, and professional trailbuilders. Our Membership Drive wraps up at the end of the month, and we don’t want you to miss out on the chance to support the trails you love and also win some rad prizes!

Become a paying member of GPNEMBA by May 31st, and you’re automatically entered to win some rad bike stuff. If you raise your membership to the Supporter level, you’ll receive five (5) entries to win some pretty great prizes including:

  • Specialized Status 140 from Ridgeline Bikes in Avon, CT ( Worth $2,500)

  • Thule ReVert 4 bike rack (Worth $1,000)

  • Downhill passes to Loon, Highland, Stratton, and Thunder Mountain Bike Park

  • Gift packs and gift cards from Straz Components, Atomic Coffee Roasters, Camelot Tools, Santa Cruz Bikes, and Seacoast eBikes

Your membership helps hundreds of GPNEMBA volunteers facilitate the maintenance and construction of world-class bike trails throughout greater Portland.

Ongoing projects include:

  • Building a new flow trail in Fore River Sanctuary (Portland) along with a new XC trail, and revamping Riverton Bike Park to ride better and better.

  • Opening a new 2-mile XC trail (our longest ever!) and working to finish & open the first Max Southam & Mt. Abram Trails-built downhill trail in Lowell Preserve, and build the second downhill this fall.

  • Undertaking our first professional trail planning project to guide a sustainable and improved future for trails in N. Falmouth & Blackstrap Preserve.

  • Hosting more than 30 group rides throughout the season, including continuing our Women’s Ride Series, ride + BBQ’s, and a special GPNEMBA Day at Mt. Abram!

And this hardly captures it all. We’ve joined planning committees for the second phase of East Windham Conservation Area and for mountain bike trails in Portland city parks. We’re pushing for better trails at Bradbury State Park, and supporting new mountain bike advocates in southern Maine.

Support our efforts by becoming a GPNEMBA member right now. Please select Greater Portland as your home chapter!

Thank you for helping to make a world-class mountain bike community in Greater Portland a reality.

Ryan Dunfee
President, Greater Portland NEMBA
